They were at the launch of the meet at GC Foster College which was held on Wednesday (8 Jan).

The annual Fuller-Anderson PUMA JAAA Development meet is returning for its 40th edition on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at the Kirkvine Sports Complex in Manchester. 

The meet is open to male and female athletes of all ages, and each school is allowed to have up to 6 competitors per class per event, except for the 1500m, which has a limit of 2 competitors per class. 

The events that will be held at the meet include the 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m open, and 5000m open. For more information about the events, please visit the website at http://entryformsja.com

Single-sex teams will be required to pay a fee of $9,000, and co-ed teams will be required to pay a fee of $11,000. The deadline to enter the meet is Sunday, January 8, 2023. 

This year’s honorees are Mr. Lassen Harvey, Mr. Leighton Boothe, and Mr. Ludlow Watts, who have all made significant contributions to the growth and development of track and field in Jamaica. 

As the organizers of the meet, we strive to provide opportunities for athletes to improve their skills and performances. 

The Fuller-Anderson PUMA JAAA meet is an important event that helps athletes prepare for the annual Boys and Girls Athletic Championships and for representing Jamaica at the national level.
