Former Kingston College (KC) long-distance athlete Ari Rodgers is hospitalized following a car accident.
According to the Jamaica Observer, crashed on Saturday in the United States.
Rodgers, who is on a track and field scholarship to Grambling State University in Louisiana, crashed on the school campus. The car overturned in the process.
The report, which was confirmed by his cousin Crispus Atukwaste, said Rodgers remains in hospital. He is recovering well.
Rodgers, who is from Ugandan, arrived in Jamaica in 2016 and competed three years for KC at Champs and Manning Cup.
