Multiple World and Olympic winner Allyson Felix explained her approach into this season and plans for the future.
On her Twitter page, Felix wrote: “season #15 was different for me. An investment in myself. I had a limited race schedule so that I can be at my best the next few years.”
She continued: “Most of the work I did was unseen. As a competitor, it’s hard to see the bigger picture, but I trust the plan & look forward to it paying off!”
Felix at 200m is the 2012 Olympic champion, a 3-time World champion (2005–09), and 2-time Olympic silver medalist (2004–08).
At 400m, she is the 2015 World champion, 2011 World silver medalist, 2016 Olympic silver medalist, and 2017 World bronze medalist.
