Dr. Warren Blake has been returned unopposed as President of the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA) at Tuesday night’s (November 29) Annual General Meeting.
Dr. Blake, who will be serving his second full four -year term, will have some new faces on the current team. First Vice President in the last administration, Dave Myrie did not seek re-election, which saw the elevation of Ian Forbes, from Second Vice President.
Attorney-at- Law, Lincoln Eatmon, who challenged Dr. Blake unsuccessfully in 2012, is the new Second Vice President while long time met official, Leroy Cooke, replaces Ewan Scott as the new Director of Records.
Olympians, Michael Frater and Vilma Charlton, remain as Third and Fourth Vice President, respectively.
Life Insurance agent, Julette Parkes-Livermore, who also failed to get elected in 2012, and ISSA administrator, George Forbes are among the new members brought in.
Other members, Trevor ”TC” Campbell, Michael Clarke, Gregory Hamilton and Scott, complete the Blake slate.
Senior race starter, Ludlow Watts continues in his role as Honorary Treasurer.
