UTRECHT, Netherland – World 200m champion Dafne Schippers will have a bridge named after her in her home town of Utrecht, report De Telegraaf.
The, yet to be built, cycle bridge over the Amsterdam-Rhine canal will be called the Dafne Schippers Bridge. The bridge should be completed at the end of 2016.
Schippers was chosen in a public vote. There was 10 options for voters to choose.
