ISSA has made several changes for Champs 2017.

The organizers have added the Class 2 boys’ 400m hurdles. Previously the event was open.

Others changes will see athletes be limited to two individual events and two relays while Class 3 athletes will be excluded from the 3,000 (girls), 5,000 (boys) and both 2,000 steeplechase.

Also, field events athletes can do three individual events or two with a relay. Multi event athletes, however, will only be allowed one additional event.

The 2017 Champs will be held March 28 to April 1 at the National Stadium in Kingston.
