Jamaican Chrisann Gordon opened her indoor season at the Tyson Invitational here in Fayetteville, Arkansas on Friday.
Gordon, representing South Plains College, clocked a personal best 52.41 for 5th in the women’s 400m dash.
Courtney Okolo of Texas won the event in 51.65 ahead of Taylor Ellis-Watson of Arkansas.
Gordon was very pleased with her performance.
“I felt good, this was my first indoor 400m for the season, so I am really happy for that 400m PB,” the former Holmwood Technical standout said.
“I am looking forward for a great season once am injury free,” added the Jamaica senior team representative.
