The Americas’ team to next month’s IAAF Continental Cup Ostrava 2018 will have 12 Jamaicans. The meet will be over two days, September 8-9.
Yohan Blake, Fedrick Dacres, Shericka Jackson and Danielle Williams head the list of Jamaicans to represent the Area federation of North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletics Association.
The other Jamaicans are Ronald Levy, Andre Clarke, Fredrick Dacres, Tyquendo Tracey, Danniel Thomas-Dodd, Stephanie-Ann McPherson, Natoya Goule, Aisha Praught and Janieve Russell.
Two Bahamians, Olympic Games 400m champion Shaunae Miller-Uibo and Donald Thomas are also in the team.
Levern Spencer of St. Lucia, BVI’s Kyron McMaster, London 2012 Olympic javelin champion Keshorn Walcott of Trinidad and Tobago and Anderson Peters of Grenada are the others from the Caribbean.
