PORT OF SPAIN – Andwuelle Wright was in record form during Saturday’s second day of the Trinidad and Tobago Championships.

The 20-year-old Wright leapt 8.23m (+1.5m/s) and improved the former long jump record mark 8.14m by Wendell Williams from 1999.

Andwuelle Wright won at the Bermuda Invitational with 7.74m

In the 100m finals, Michelle-Lee Ahye clocked 11.14 to beat Khalifa St. Fort, 11.23secs.

Keston Bledman, 10.20secs, to beat Kyle Greaux 10.21 in the men’s 100m final.

Deon Lendore was the best in the 400m with 45.31 and Reubin Walters 13.63 (-2.1m/s) in the 110m hurdles.

London 2012 Olympic winner Keshorn Walcott won javelin with good 84.96m.
