Blake thinks Bolt will be hard to follow

Yohan Blake, the 2011 world 100m champion, said Usain Bolt has left a huge shoe to fill.

“Bolt left a size 19 to fit, and it’s hard to fit. I am trying to squeeze my foot in, and I am somewhere close,” Blake said after his 9.96 seconds run to win the men’s 100m at the JN Racers Grand Prix on June 10.

Asked if he was comfortable with his performance, Blake said yes because he was “running 9-point consistently and easy”

Blake also disclosed it was very emotional for him watching the legendary send off for Bolt. “I cried a little,” Blake said.

Bolt ran 10.03 in the legend men’s 100m race.
