Blake says he’s ready to shine on Gold Coast

Jamaican sprinter Yohan Blake said he is ready to stamp his class on the Commonwealth Games. He spoke to media after touching down at Brisbane International Airport last week to finalise his preparations ahead of the 4-15 April event.

Blake, who is the second fastest man ever over 100 metres, is looking to win his first Commonwealth Games medal on the Gold Coast, after missing the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games due to injury.
