Day 2 results from the Pan American Games Santiago 2023 saw athletes from North America and the Caribbean make a remarkable statement, clinching two gold medals in the 100m sprints. Yunisleidy De La Caridad García of Cuba secured the gold in the Women’s 100m Final with a time of 11.36, while Jose Alnardo Gonzalez of the Dominican Republic won the Men’s 100m Final, clocking in at 10.30.
