Five electrifying finals marked the opening day of track and field events at the Pan American Games Santiago 2023. Among the events that stole the spotlight was the Mixed 4x400m Relay, where Dominican Republic blazed their way to gold with a time of 3:16.05. Brazil took the silver, clocking in at 3:18.55, while the United States of America captured bronze with a finish time of 3:19.41.
