Grenadian world bronze medallist Lindon Victor and United States’ Taliyah Brooks were third-place finishers at the Decastar 2023 World Athletics Combined Events Tour Gold Eevent in Talence, France.
Lindon Victor, who started the second and final day in fourth, improved to 7980 points for his third-place finish.

Gletty achieved personal bests in four of the ten events, including a 4:27.46 finish in the 1500m to wrap up his effort. Germany’s Manuel Eitel took second place with 8,193 points.
In the 7-event heptathlon, Brooks dropped one place to finish third with 6,181 points.

Remarkably, all the top seven finishers exceeded the 6,000-point threshold. Oosterwegel also claimed victory in the WA Combined Events Tour, with the men’s title going to Karel Tilga from Estonia.
