Taylor Roe of Oklahoma State qualified for the Big 12 Indoor Championships women’s mile final after winning her first-round heat in 4 minutes and 44.98 seconds.

Yazmine Wright of Oklahoma also advanced to the final after finishing second in the heat with a time of 4:45.12. Sivan Auerbach and Krystal Rodriguez, both from Oklahoma State, and Charlotte Wood of West Virginia, also qualified for the final after finishing in the top four in their respective heats.

Billah Jepkirui of Oklahoma State won her heat in a time of 4:50.46. Maddie Salek and Mikaela Lucki, both from Oklahoma State, also qualified for the final after finishing second and third in their heat, respectively.

The women’s mile final promises to be a competitive race, with the likes of Roe, Jepkirui, and Wright in contention for the title. The race is scheduled to take place Saturday, and fans are eagerly anticipating the showdown between the top runners in the Big 12 Conference.
