Mihambo Sets New European Lead in Long Jump at ISTAF Indoor Dusseldorf

Malaika Mihambo is a German athlete and Olympic gold medalist. She is the current world champion and world record holder in the long jump. Malaika Mihambo has continued to showcase her athletic prowess with another outstanding performance. On January 29th, the Olympic and World champion triumphed in the long jump event at the ISTAF Indoor in Dusseldorf (WIT Silver) with a magnificent leap of 6.83m, a new European lead.

Jazmine Sawyers of Great Britain came in second with 6.50m, while Serbia’s Milica Gardasevic placed third with 6.43m.

Jeremiah Azu, European bronze medallist from Great Britain, took the top spot in the men’s 60m sprint, crossing the finish line in 6.60 seconds. Owen Ansah (6.65 seconds) and Julian Wagner (6.65 seconds) followed closely behind.

KC Lightfoot Soars to Victory in the Pole Vault

KC Lightfoot of the United States cleared 5.76 meters in the pole vault, taking the top spot and leaving Pal Haugen Lillefosse of Norway and Sam Kendricks of the United States (both with 5.70 meters) in his wake.
