A total of 18 Southeastern Conference men’s and women’s track and field programs are ranked in the top-25.
- The nine top-25 men’s teams lead the nation for any conference. No other league has three.
- The nine top-25 women’s teams also lead the nation for conferences. No other league has more than four, yet the SEC has four in the top-five alone.
Hear From Head Coach Chris Woods ahead of SEC Championships:
“We’re in really good shape. We’ve had a lot of people reach PR’s already this season; we have to carry that energy, knowledge and experience that we’ve gained so far and bring it with us this weekend. Every time we go into a championship setting, it’s all about scoring points at the meet. If we go into this weekend relaxed and having fun, then we’re going to have a successful weekend.”
