Smith resumes training after car accident

Joneille Smith was involved in a car accident in Florida, USA last weekend.

According to information reach this website, Smith, along with two family members, were travelling on I-95 Expressway in Florida when the Nissan Maxima being driven by Smith was hit from behind and spun out of control which caused the car to be hit by another vehicle.

The injuries received were non-life-threatening and Smith is back in training, according to MVP President Bruce .

Smith, the Auburn University graduate, ran the 3rd leg on Jamaica’s gold medal 4x100m relay team at the Doha World Championships and was a finalist in the women’s 100m where she placed 6th.
