The IAAF is reporting that final entries for the World Athletics Championships Doha 2019 are final.
The 10-day Championships will feature 1928 athletes (1039 men and 889 women) from 209 countries.
London 2017 World Athletics Championships had 2034 athletes from 205 countries.
Of the 44 individual winners from two years ago, 38 will defend their titles in Doha.
Elijah Manangoi, Mo Farah, Wayde Van Niekerk, Sally Pearson, Caster Semenya and Anita Wlodarczyk will be the missing champions from 2017.
All 30 of the newly minted Diamond League champions will also be in action.
Allyson Felix will have the opportunity of increasing her record tally of 16 World Championships medals in the 4x400m relay while Spanish race walker Jesus Angel Garcia, 49, will also become the oldest competitor ever to take part in an IAAF World Championships.
He will also be making a record 13th appearance at the World Championships.
