Jamaicans in action, three hunt medals on day 4 at World U20 Championships

Christopher Taylor in for World U20 Championships gold

Christopher Taylor, Chantz Sawyers and Shiann Salmon headline the Jamaicans in action on Friday (13 July) at the 16th IAAF World U20 Championships in Tampere, Finland on Friday.

All three, Taylor, Sawyers and Salmon will contest gold medal round events. Jamaica have so far won two gold, one silver and one bronze medals

Two other medal favourites, Britany Anderson and Amoy Brown, will open their quest in the women’s 100m hurdles.

Also in action will be 100m champion Briana Williams, who will have two rounds of 200m on the day.

 Jamaica (Heat 2) – 10:13 am

Men’s 4X100m – Jamaica (Heat 2) – 10:38 am

Men’s 400m hurdles semi-finals – 12:10 pm Malik James-King (Heat 2) – 11:37 am and 
Leonardo Ledgister (Heat 3) 11:46 am

Women’s 200m Semi-Finals – 12:02 pm

Women’s 400mH Final – 12:26 pm Shiann Salmon

Men’s 400m Final – 12:35 pm
