Rolle to retire from collegiate coaching

Henry Rolle, one of the Caribbean most accomplished coaches, will step down from Auburn and retire from Collegiate coaching at the end of the season.

Rolle, when contacted, confirmed to Trackalerts.com he “is stepping down.”

Bahamian Rolle, in 20 years at the collegiate level, has accumulated 100 first team All Americans and 40 SEC Champions and 18 NCAA Champions.

Jamaicans Kerron Stewart, Jovanee Jarrett, Elva Goulbourne, Vonette Dixon and Dean Griffin were among those to win NCAA titles under his guidance.

Other Caribbean athletes he guided to NCAA honours includes Fana Asby (Trinidad), Leevan Sands and Sheniqua Ferguson (Bahamas).

He also won a team NCAA Championship in 2006.
