LONDON – Recently crowned NCAA 400m champion and World leader Fred Kerley has been signed up by Pace Sports Management, the company that represents track and field legend Usain Bolt.

“Fred had a phenomenal year so far in 2017 and has an extremely bright future,” said PACE CEO Ricky Simms.

“I have heard great things about Fred as athlete and as a person and we look forward to guiding him on his journey as a professional athlete,” Simms added.

Kerley’s best time for 400m, 43.70 set in the quarterfinals of the NCAA West Regional meet in Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas on May 26, 2017 ranks him as the seventh fastest 400 meters runner in history. His time became the NCAA record, taking 3 tenths of a second off the 44.00 record by Olympic champion Quincy Watts, set almost 25 years earlier

“He has the potential to be one of the stars in the sport of athletics in the next few years”, said Simms.

Kerley, representing Texas A&M, tops the world lists over 400m with a collegiate record of 43.70.
