Cejhae Greene impresses at Antigua Championships

JOHN’S, Antigua – Cejhae Greene won the men’s 100m at Saturday’s Antigua and Barbuda’s National Championships at Yasco Sports Complex (Day 1 Results Below).

Greene stopped the clock in 10.02, well ahead of his closest rivals Jared Jarvis, 10.32 and Chavaughn Walsh, 10.34.

In the women’s section, Bliss Soleyn was the first across the finish line in 11.74. Samantha Edwards finished second in 11.88 and 14-year-old Joella Lloyd, third in 12.01.

Dahlia Barnes, 12.75 was the Under-15 girls’ 100m winner while Jamaican-born Daniel Bryan topped the male section in 11.59.

In the Under-15 boys’ 400m, Bryan topped the field in 53.41 while Stephanie Joseph was the female winner in 60.95.

Shindell Henry won the men’s 400m open final in 48.35 ahead of Demaro McKenzie, 49.45.

Pricilla Fredricks cleared 1.85 to take the women’s high jump crown.
