World and Olympic sprint double champion, Usain Bolt, beat Yohan Blake and Asafa Powell at Saturday’s (11 June) JN Racers Grand Prix.
Bolt, who was left back in the blocks, dominated the last half of the race before easing down across the line in 9.88.
Blake, who crossed the line in the same time as Nickel Ashmeade, 9.94secs, was credited with third while Powell finished fourth in 9.98.
Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, the two time Olympic Games 100m defending champion, topped the female race in 11.09.
American Babara Pierre finished second in 11.11 and Trinidad and Tobago’s Kelly-Ann Baptiste ended third in 11.15.
Jamaicans Gayon Evans, 11.24, Ramone Burchell, 11.24, Jura Levy, 11.28 and Samantha Henry-Robinson, 11.59, were 4th, 5th, 7th and 8th respectively.
Jamaicans Jason Livermore, 10.03 and Christania Williams, 11.10 were the winners of the B races.
American David Oliver ran 13.09 to beat Jamaican Deuce Carter, 13.20 in the men’s 110m hurdles.
Sharika Nelvis, also of United States, won the women’s 100m hurdles in 12.61 ahead of Jamaicans Danielle Williams, 12.77 and Megan Simmonds, 12.86 (PB).
