Track and field athletes again dominated the nominees for the 2014 RJR National Sportsman and Sportswoman Awards.
Commonwealth Games gold medallists, Kemar Bailey-Cole (100m), Rasheed Dwyer (200m), Andrew Riley (110 hurdles) and O’Dayne Richards (shot put) are among the five men shortlisted for this year’s awards.
Kaliese Spencer (400m hurdles), Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce (4×100), Stephanie McPherson (400), Veronica Campbell-Brown (4×100) and Kimberly Williams (triple jump), all gold medallist at the Commonwealth Games, are among the seven women shortlisted.
Fraser-Pryce also won gold at the World Indoor Championships while Spencer was also a winner at the Continental Cup.
The Awards ceremony will be held on January 16, 2015
