Jamaican and American sprinters will again face-off at the 40th Prefontaine Classic on Saturday (31 May 2014) in Eugene, USA.
World leader Justin Gatlin, the four-time winner, is down to battle Moscow medalist Nesta Carter of Jamaica. Also, USA will have Mike Rodgers and Jamaica Nickel Ashmeade for the event.
Add to them Frenchman Jimmy Vicaut, who already clocked sub 10 this year.
On the women’s side, World sprint double champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce will go up against multiple global winner in American Allyson Felix, who is on her way back from injury.
Both will have in the event with them Shanghai Diamond League winner Blessing Okagbare, World medalist Murielle Ahoure of Ivory Coast and other Americans in Kimberlyn Duncan, Jeneba Tarmoh and English Gardner.
World leads 9.87 and 22.23 will be under threat.
