Powell assists with starts and techniques of Charlemont High sprinters

Former 100-metre world record holder Asafa Powell put his doping issue behind him last week, to work out with athletes from his alma mater Charlemont High at the National Stadium (See Photos Below).

The athletes are preparing for the upcoming Boys and Girls’ Athletics Championships.

According to information, Powell invited the athletes to the training session to help and motivate them ahead of the ‘Champs.’

Powell, considered one of the best starters, assisted the athletes with their starts and techniques for the 100-metre dash.

Among the sprinters who took part in the session were Shandou Bryan, Kirk Goldson, Kahjay Morris, Damion Davidson and Travice Whyte.

Powell drug hearing is down winding down. It continues on Wednesday with closing arguments from the lawyers.
