Edwin Allen 206.5 and St. Jago 124 are leading the girls and boys sections respectively of Central Champs.
The top five girls schools are Edwin Allen 206.5, Hydel 127.5, Holmwood 115, Vere 100 and Manchester 100. The top five boys schools are St. Jago 124, Holmwood 60, Edwin Allen 59, Hydel 59 and Claude McKay 36.
Central Champs is being held at Kirkvine after a seven-year absence. The final day started with the sprint hurdles for girls and boys while the 800M and 200M heats will run off before lunch after there will be all finals.
The finals scheduled for today are the 200M, 800M, sprint medley, 3000M, 5000M, 4x100M, 4x400M, the jumps and the hurdles. Central Champs will close with the 4x400M relays for girls and boys.
There are forty one competing schools this year including defending champions Edwin Allen for the girls and Hydel for the boys. Two of the schools – one from the West and one from the East are being accommodated in the Steeplechase in order to get qualifying times for Champs.
