KINGSTON, Jamaica – World and Olympic Games 100m champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce will open her season over 60m (outdoor) at The Queen's/Grace Jackson Meet on Saturday (25 Jan).
The Organizsers added a invitational 60m for male and female at the meet to commemorate The Queen's School's 60th anniversary.
"I am looking forward to it because I want to know where I am in terms of training and how training has been going," said Fraser-Pryce.
Fraser-Pryce added: "I will be going away to compete in some 60 metres, which I know will provide huge competition and I will get to see where exactly I am. The plan is to do the World Indoor Championships, so I will just be working towards that."
Carrie Russell, who led off Jamaica's record breaking 4x100m team at the World Championships in Moscow, last year, is also down for the women's 60m.
Nesta Carter will run in the men's 60.
