Novlene Williams-Mills: “Our life is now about double celebration.”

Former Jamaica 400m athlete Novlene Williams-Mills and her husband Jameel are expecting twin babies.

Williams-Mills, who is a cancer survivor, expressed excitement in masking the announcement.

“God is so kind because we have been double blessed with awesome joy. Yes, it TWINS!” she shared on social media.

Under the photo taken by Bahamian Olympic Games 400m champion Shaunae Miller-Uibo, Williams-Mills wrote: “Our life is now about double celebration.”

Williams-Mills won the bronze medal at the Osaka 2007 World Championships. She also is three-time Olympic bronze medallist in the 4×400m relays.

However, what she is remembered mostly for is that brilliant anchor leg which handed Jamaica gold in the 4x400m at the Beijing 2015 World Championships.

She has four more relay silver medals at this level.
