Tiffany James won Jamaica’s first ever junior female 400m gold medal at the IAAF World Under-20 Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland on Thursday (21 July).
James ran a life time best 51.32 to take the top spot in the one lap event.
Junelle Bromfield, Jamaica’s other entrant in the final, pocketed the bronze in 52.05. American Lynna Irby took silver in 51.39
