TRINIDAD – Olympic shot put champion Valerie Adams is considering having a training camp in Trinidad and Tobago, report Newsday.
“it’s been amazing being here. I’m actually thinking very seriously of coming back here myself, for a pre-camp for the Rio Olympic Games," Adams said.
The New Zealander is visiting fellow shot putter Cleopatra Borel for two weeks on the Caribbean islands.
Adams was speaking at the Sports Company of Trinidad and Tobago (SPORTT) talk shop event, which was also attended by 2013 world 400mH champion Jehue Gordon.
