Trackalerts.Com and Trackie, on January 4, 2014, have announced a new partnership.
TrackAlerts.com is the leading track and field news website that ‘showcases Jamaica’s track and field while embracing the entire Caribbean with worldwide exposure’.
Trackie is a Canadian based company that showcases Canadian track & field, cross country and road running.
Anthony Foster, founder and content director of Trackalerts, is very pleased with the partnership, noting "our track & field community stands to benefit greatly from such a partnership."
Foster said discussions regarding the partnership started almost two years ago. "I am just happy that Trackie and Trackalerts were able to reach a decision on this partnership, which will be of great benefit for the service we want to provide to our visitors."
The partnership will see several new initiatives being undertaken by both Trackie and Trackalerts.
"Already we have seen an improvement in our video, photo, calendar and results pages," Foster added.
Adam Stacey, founder of Trackie, noted "I have always been a huge fan of TrackAlerts.com, and it has been great working with Anthony to bring the website back to life".
Stacey also stated, "there is a lot of long-term potential in this new partnership with TrackAlerts.com, as our skills and resources can easily be shared."
