The majority of Jamaica's athletes has arrived for the team's 10-day training camp in Tottori Prefecture, Japan.

Notable names such as Veronica Campbell-Brown and Asafa Powell were among the early ones to arrive in Tottori, a prefecture of Japan located in the Ch?goku region.

Omar McLeod, who is listed among the favourites for the men’s 110m hurdles title, is also at the Camp.

Also arrived, based on information circulation from images seen online, are Sherone Simpson, Kemar Bailey-Cole, Ristananna Tracey, Annsert Whyte, Natoya Goule, Fedrick Dacres, Chrisann Gordon, Daniel Thomas, Anastasia Le-Roy, Omar McLeod, Chad Wright, Hansle Parchment, Jason Morgan, Demar Forbes and Leford Green.

Shermaine Williams, Salcia Slack and Kemoy Campbell are also at the camp.

Dave Myrie, JAAA’s 1st vice president, and Ludlow Watts, treasurer, executive member Dennis Gordon are also with the group in Japan. Coaches Maurie Wilson, Jerry Holness, Lennox Graham, Michael Clarke, Julian Robinson and Jermaine Shand are also there at the camp.

The Jamaica team will travel to Beijing on August 18 for the XV IAAF World Championships, August 22-30.
