Bralon Taplin clocked a world-leading time of 45.26 in the 400m indoor at the Texas A&M Aggie Twilight at Gilliam Indoor Track Stadium in College Station, Texas on Saturday (16 Feb).
Taplin bettered the previous world-leading time of 45.35 set in Clemson last weekend by Houston’s Obi Igbokwe.
Taplin, who equalled the world-leading 300m time with a 32.49 on Feb. 1, has an indoor best of 44.88 that he set in 2018 on the Gilliam track.
The pair of Nathan Hood & Tallan James (Barton Community College) performed outstandingly at the NJCAA Region VI Indoor Championships in Pittsburg, Kansas on Saturday.
Hood won the 600m (1:18.49) & 1000m (2:29.00). James was 5th in the 800m (1:56.39) & 9th in the 1000m (2:34.87).
