EUGENE, USA – An all-star field has been assembled for the women’s 400m at the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene on 28 May.
The line-up includes seven runners with sub-50 lifetime bests including World champion Allyson Felix and Olympic champion Sanya Richards-Ross, who recently announced she will be retiring at the end of the season.
Other top athletes in the line-up include World silver medallist Shaunae Miller, the world-leader with 49.69; and Quanera Hayes, who recently set a PB of 49.91.
The field also includes Francena McCorory, Natasha Hastings, Stephenie-Ann McPherson and Ashley Spencer. Felix leads the head-to-head 7-4 over Richards-Ross at 400m, and 20-9 across all distances.
