Dafne Schippers and Christophe Lemaitre won the sprint events at Saturday’s (19 Sept) Gouden Spike meeting in Leiden, Netherland.
Lemaitre was healthy again with 15.51 (-0.6) PB in the 150m over Taymir Burnet 15.60.
Schippers clocked 11.47 (+0.1) in the 100m over Briton Kristal Awuah 11.59 who won the 200 m in 23.20 (-1.2) PB.
Also, to note, 46.49s in the 400m by hurdler Ramsey Angela and 18.16 in women shot put for Jessica Schilder.
However, new World lead in the 10,000m by Kenyan Nicholas Kimeli 26:58.97 ahead of Solomon Kiplimo Boit 27:41.10, also PBs for both.
The women’s 10,000m also staged as Dutch Championships, saw personal best times for Jasmijn Lau 32:20.75 and Bo Ummels 32:25.41.
Her sister Britt Ummels won the 800m in 2:02.61. Menno Vloon cleared season-best 5.76m in the pole vault.
