Fans of the throws will be in for a special show on May 28 as the women’s discus, with Jamaican Shadae Lawrence, returns to the Prefontaine Classic in Oregon for the first time in six years.
Red-hot Olympic champion Valarie Allman will face off against a field that includes the defending Pre Classic champion, Sandra Perković and Olympic silver medalist Kristin Pudenz.
Five other competitors from the Tokyo Olympic Games, finalists Liliana Cá (5th), Jamaica’s Shadae Lawrence (7th), Daisy Osakue (12th), and the American Rachel Dincoff are down to compete.
