Three Jamaicans, Brittany Anderson, Natalliah Whyte and Nathon Allen, were winners at last weekend’s (30 April- 1 May) North Florida Collegiate Invitational Meet at the University of North Florida.

Brittany Anderson ran for Tumbleweed Track Club and crossed the line in 12.68 to win the women’s 100m hurdles ahead of Rayniah Jones of Ucf, 12.79.
Anderson ran 12.83 in the prelims.
Laeticia Bapte of France also dipped under 13 seconds, running 12.97 for third place in the final.
Natalliah Whyte won the women’s 100m dash, running 10.97 to beat her Tumbleweed Track Club teammate Shania Collins, 10.99.
Christopher Taylor ran 10.17 (1.7m/s wind) to finish 5th in the men’s 100m dash. The event was won by Trayvon Bromwell, 9.75 ahead of Andre DeGrasse, 10.07 (2.1m/s).
Nathon Allen topped the men’s 400m in 45.53, beating Trevor Stewart, 45.60 and Akeem Bloomfield, 45.89.
Jermaisha Arnold of Coastal Carolina won the women’s 400, crossing the line in 52.11.
In the men’s 110m hurdles, Trey Cunningham of Florida State, 13.10, beat Wilhem Belocian, 13.23 and Andrew Pozzi, 13.28 (1.7m/s). Cunningham ran 13.15 in the prelims.
