Top track and field website TrackAlerts.com was able to produce record hits during its coverage of the 2014 ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls’ Athletics Championships at the National Stadium from March 25-29.

The championships produced 21 records over the five-days. While on the web, TrackAlerts.com created record-breaking hits on all its platform.

The site recorded 250,000 page views during the five days with Friday and Saturday accounting for 70% of the total. This bettered the London Olympic Games in 2012, which got just over 200,000 in a similar week.

TracksAlerts.com’s Blogging page got over 150,000 views during the event.

On Facebook, the page recorded another record-breaking performance with 987 posts over the five days.

Each post, based on Facebook organic reach statistic, got an average of 8,050 views, while comments per post average 10.

The page got 1,450 new likes during the same period.

On twitter, TrackAlerts.com tweets, based on Tweetreach.com, reach far more people than any other twitter handle, 467,000 per day, with the last two days getting over 1 million combined.

The page also got over 1,000 new followers during the championships.

TrackAlerts.com's President and CEO Anthony Foster praised the effort of his team, which included editor Andrew Harry, writer Vijay, Rajay Murdock, the photographer and Noel 'Bravo' Francis, whose insightful stories kept viewers attached to the website.

Foster also thank Vaun Johnson, Interactive Marketing & Social Media Specialist, at telecommunication company LIME for the credit giveaway, which he said contributed to the tremendous feedback from the fans.

“We are very happy that we were able to provide unmatched coverage on our Multimedia platform to all our supporters,” said Foster.
