WARSZAWA, Poland – The Kamila Skolimowska Memorial has confirmed Asafa Powell as its biggest star to date.

The former world record holder,  has confirmed for the meet to be staged in the National Stadium here, on Sunday, September 13.

The Jamaican champion is the second fastest man of 2015. He is a well-known name in Poland, clocking the all-comers record 9.82 in Szczecin back in 2009.

The sprinter with the most sub-10 times in history said, "I’m happy to be back in Poland, always found great and enthusiastic public support.”

“It will be one of my last competitions of the year, so I hope to leave a mark and possibly improve Usain Bolt´s meet record from last year,” added Powell.

Bolt, in his lone 100m race last season, won there in 9.98secs.
