The 1st Panamerican Cross Country Cup will be held February 21st, 2015 in the beautiful city of Barranquilla, Colombia.
According to Victor Lopez, president of North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletic Association (NACAC), the NACAC and Consudatle XC Championships will be part of the event.
Lopez explained: “In these type of competitions we can separate the points by Areas and at the same time we can have the full Pan Am Cup.”
“We would like the Members to enter full teams, especially the large countries. Therefore we are looking forward on having a large number of teams and if possible all the 41 member federations entering at least one male and one female athlete,” added Lopez.
President Lopez also used the opportunity to “wish The Americas Athletics Family a MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY 2015, FULL OF HEALTH AND HAPPINESS.”
