KINGSTON, Jamaica – World 100m bronze medallist Nesta Carter of Jamaica is again planning to utilise the indoor circuit in his preparation for the outdoor season, informs the IAAF.

The 28-year-old has his sights set on Sopot, saying “The last World Indoors I finished second, so my target will be to go straight for the gold (this time around). Once I put in the work, I know I have a good shot at it, so I’m just going to go and focus on putting in that work now and then give it my all in the competition and to make the team.”

Carter also wants to run faster than his 60m best of 6.49 which he set in 2012. Outdoors, Carter plans to focus on performing well on the Diamond League circuit while he also wants to compete at the Commonwealth Games and World Relays.
