Micah Williams (Oregon), 10.11, JoVaughn Martin (Florida State), 10.12 and Terrance Laird (LSU), 10.21, booked their championship showdown tickets.

Laird, 20.14, Joseph Fahnbulleh (Florida), 20.05 and Shaun Maswanganyi (Houston), 20.18 are through to the 200m final, set for Friday evening.

In the 400m, Randolph Ross (North Carolina A&T) leads the way with 45.24, ahead of Tyler Johnson (Ohio State), 45.33, Trevor Stewart (North Carolina A&T) 45.36) and Noah Williams (LSU) 45.40).

Jamaican Sean Bailey (UTEP) also made the final with 45.74; however, his countryman Wayne Lawrence Jr. (Iowa) failed to progress with his 45.94.

Jamaican Carey McLeod (Tennessee) took third place in the men’s long jump. Mcleod leapt 7.94m in the final, won by JuVaughn Harrison (LSU), 8.27m.
