Victor Lopez, president of the North America, Central America and Caribbean (CACAC) Track & Field Association, believes the future of 400m hurdles in looking good.

Responding to news from the BVI Development Series of 400m hurdles record demolition, Lopez said, “The region will become the 400 hurdlers Paradise of the World”

Lopez added “with Javier Culson from PUR and Jehue Gordon from TTO, the best in the world right now in the senior category and the young ones coming after them we can dominate globally for a long time.”

The IAAF Council member, in a email response to head of the BVI Athletics Association, said “well done, Congratulations.”
