Kyron McMaster bagged the third place in the men’s 400m hurdles at Saturday’s (24 Aug) Paris Diamond League.
McMaster ran a season-best 48.33 to finish behind Karsten Warholm of Norway, 47.26 and Ludvy Vaillant of France, 48.30.
Warholm was pleased with his race. “I’ve been very consistent and hitting good times,” he said.
“This year the three best people haven’t met yet, so that’s why I get to win by so much (distance) at meets like this,” he added.
He continued “we’re all trying to get the work in to be in peak form for Doha. ”
American Rai Benjamin, 47.16 and Abderrahman SAMBA, 47.27 are the second and third-best in the world this year.
American TJ Holmes, who was expected to be almost the top three, finished fifth in 49.04.
