Odaine Lewis, formerly of Cornwall College, won the men’s triple jump at Saturday’s Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational held at Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Lewis leapt 15.59m to beat his Iowa Central teammate Jah-Nhai Perinchief, 15.32m.
Barbadian Sonia Gaskin topped the women’s 800m in 2:09.44 over Iowa Central’s Agnes Mansaray, 2:10.01.
Senoj-Jay Givans narrowly lost out in a photo-finish to Barton County’s Chedlin Sageese, both got identical time of 6.71 in the men’s 60m dash.
Jamaican Chrisann Gordon, who won the 400m on Friday’s opening day, returned to lead of Texas to victory in the 4x400m relays in 3:33.71, a new meet record.
Givans was also apart of his team’s mile relay quartet, which finish second in 3:07.83 behind Kansas 3:07.82.
