Jamaica’s female team was victorious in the USA vs the World Women 4×100 at the Penn Relays on Saturday (28 April), while the men faded to third.

The Jamaican women lead from start to finish as Gayon Evans, Kerron Stewart, Schillone Calvert-Powell and Jura Levy, managed to hold off a surging USA Red team to finish in 43.14secs.

The USA Red team of Aliyah Brown, Kimberlyn Duncan, Destinee Brown and Kyra Jefferson ran 43.18, with USA Blue finishing third in 43.71.

Meanwhile, Nesta Carter, Tyquendo Tracey, Oshane Bailey and Jhevaugn Minzie crossed the line in 39.17, behind USA-led Justin Gatlin’s USA Red in 38.39.

USA Blue finished second in 38.72.
