Milo Western Relays at GC Foster College

Kingston College (KC) and Holmwood stole the spotlight at the Milo Western Relays on Saturday at the Catherine Hall Stadium in Montego Bay.

KC won three of the boys’ 4x100m relays, Classes 2, 3 and 4 in 42.59, 44.46 and a record 45.07 respectively.

KC came out on top of the 4x200m for Class 2 in 1:26.94.

The North Street-based school also took the 4x400m final in 3:14.74 ahead of STETHS 3:16.13 and 4x800m final in 7:42.26 ahead of STETHS 7:42.95.

Munro College topped the boys Class 1 4x200m 1:30.27.

On the female side, Holmwood won four finals. They won the girls’ Class 2 final in 46.03 while Excelsior topped the boys’ 4x100m event in 41.01.

Holmwood also won the girls’ 4x800m event in 8:59.54 ahead of Edwin Allen 9:03.60. The Christiana School also ran away with the 4x200m in 1:36.00 ahead of Hydel 1:37.42 and the 4x400m in 3:40.91 ahead of Edwin Allen 3:43.21.

Edwin Allen came out on top in three of the 4x100m relays, Classes 1, 3 and 4 in 44.87, 45.84 and 47.92, respectively.

MVP won the women’s 4x100m in 43.61 ahead of Sprintec 44.73
MVP men, however, were beaten 39.43 to 39.42 by UTech.
