On a rainy Friday (April 28) at Penn Relays, the High School Boys’ 4×400 Championship of America delivered a thrilling performance inside Franklin Field. Despite the wet conditions, a small crowd remained in the stands, mostly under umbrellas, to witness the top high school teams, mainly from Jamaica and the United States, compete.

In a spectacular show of athleticism, Kingston College defended their title at the High School Boys’ 4×400 Championship of America at #PennRelays23. The team, represented by Amal Glasgow, Marcinho Rose, Raheem Richards, and Emmanuel Rwotomiya, won the race with a stunning time of 3:15.62, leaving the competition in the dust. Seton Hall Prep came in second place with a time of 3:16.06, while Calabar claimed third place with a time of 3:16.54.
Notable teams in the race included Edwin Allen, St. Elizabeth Tech, Bullis School, DeMatha Catholic, St. Jago, and Bishop Loughlin. Despite the rain, the energy and excitement in the stadium were palpable as fans cheered on their favorite teams in this epic display of athleticism and determination.
